When a reader clicks yoursite.com/kdp/YOUR_ASIN, our edge worker detects their country in three layers: (1) Cloudflare's geolocation header, (2) their browser's language and locale, and (3) an IP-based fallback. We hash reader IP addresses before storing them, so we can count unique visitors without keeping identifying data. All book and analytics data is protected by row-level security in our database — only you (and workspace members you invite on Business) can see your books and stats. Payments run through Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record.
